Hello,
I have been a long time lurker to these halls and hope i can enlist your help.I'm building AFV clubs wiesel Mk20a1 for a small vignette set in A-stan, and I am wondering if any after market co.s produced a turned barrel for this vehicle as my searchs have been fruitless.
Thanks Derek

I don't know about a barrel, but Echelon makes ISAF logo decals. Guessing you'll need those...

Marc,
Thanks for the info , but I will be doing mine as one of the original six that first deployed. From the pictures I have seen it looked like some crews just hand painted ISAF on their tracks. As for the Barrel the kit provided does'nt look bad but I was looking to go all out on this one Eduard PE scratch built crew the whole nine yards, this would just be the icing on the cake. Provided someone makes one.
Thanks ,
Derek

Model Point makes a 20 mm for the Marder that you might be able to use.
The Wiesels in Afghanistan use the new style track...different than the original kit track.

Jason,
Thanks for the info on the barrel. computor has been down so ,today was the first chance I've had to shoot the net I did find one listed at great models ,but it was advertised as only the barrel no muzzle brake? so my question is this do you know if any one makes a complete barrel for the Marder? I also was able to check out military photos for in service pictures of Weasels in A-stan and all appear to have the updated tracks, which now posses my next problem where or if any one makes the new track? Suggestions are welcome please.
Thanks ,Derek

Model Point does make a barrel also with the muzzle brake...I can't recall the number..maybe check the actual Model Point site.
As far as I know there are no aftermarket late tracks.

Jason ,
Thanks again I will look on line and try the model point site , as well as the new connection site that Jacues suggested,Side note when the German contingent first arrived were they any where near the Canadian contingent I'm looking for possible supporting players to fill out the figures or possibly the Brits I have seen them together ,but was looking for a more non-traditional camoflage to paint. As a plus I just received the Blast set of M16a3 and really want to use these O Canada! thanks Derek

Christophe,
Thanks for pointing me down another direction, I really want to do this nice little kit justice. I apologize for the wrong name in my last post I'm running back and forth from my current project which is a Chenya vignette and I just received my MIG street lamps so that I can wrap this one and move on to this one as soon as possible so my head is in 5-6 different places. thanks for the info.

The Canadians have been in Afghanistan since 2002...I am sure they crossed paths with the Germans in the Kabul area.
FYI..there are differences between the M16A3 and the Canadian C7A1 and C7A2....just check your references...and use Google.
