I know it was disscussed before, but I haven't noticed few things about IFF panels:
1. are they of specific dimensions (I have seen at least two different sizes so far)?
2. are they identical for both US and British vehicles?
3. what would be the easiest method for modeling them?

They come in different sizes according to the parent vehicle. I have seen 4 slats to 7 slats.
British ones appear to be painted white, American ones painted sand colour.
I would think that the best way to simulate would be to use platic card and strip....get some good reference photos first.
There is another thread here on this site. Rtwpsom2 has placed a topic in the last few days...go there to see some pictures I have posted.
