Ok so originally I was gonna do the dreaded rpm minenraumer kit for this campaign but on achtungpanzer.com it shows that 50 of these were built. Can any verify this or is there hard evidence either way? I also have an alan bison II kit which it apears there was only 12 of them so I believe this would qualify for the build campaign. Im a newer armorama member and just want to kick off my first campaign on the right track so any help would be appreciated. Also if anyone could post a list of some of the experimentals and low production number items that are available in kit form that would be great also as then I might find something else to build as I have very little armor experience and am just getting into it.

Tony,

There are a variety of kits out there (full kits and conversions) that'll do you right. I don't know that anyone has put together a specific list though. I guess it boils down to just what do YOU want to build (and how much to you want to spend). I've seen some nice kits for $30 or so and some that go up to a few hundred. The Panzerzerstoerer that I'm doing (with all the bells and whistles) runs about $200 retail. Normally, that's waaaay too much for me, but....it's a wicked kool vehicle.

Some that come to mind right off the bat: Super Pershing, US T-28 Super Heavy, MAUS, E-100 (well, the E-series at any rate), the new one from CH and the 17cm from Trumpy....the list really is big.

Try this link from Google ....there's a variety of German subjects in there.

Also, don't forget to check out the Campain thread...you'll hear about a variety of different kits others are thinking/planning to build.

Anyhow, I hope this helps and really hope to see you in the build.

Mike
