I've posted few pics of my SDKFZ. 9 that has been an on-and off again project for the past 9 months.
Still loading it up with "junk/stuff" and will be using one or more Warriors figures to fill out the crew area along with some verlinden "Stuff."
The flash has washed out a little color (it's snowing outside or I'd shoot in natural light), but comments are welcome...

Hi PorkChop,
It looks very nice, to say the least. Anyway, I have a question. What have you used to load the flatbed? I mean, what brand is the stuff you put in there (chain, fuel tanks etc.)? Have you used any PE parts? Keep up the good work.

Panzer:
Thanks. the bed is a mix of stuff. The two tank engines and associted parts is the Verlinden "German Cargo" set. Frankly, for the money (about $16 USD), this is one of the better resin sets I've boght. Comes with boxes, 2 engines and a buch of other stuff.
All the 55 galon drums are Tamiya (the newer German gas can set) as are the gas cans.
I've also pulled individual tools from the Italeri "Field Workshop set" and the Tamiya "Engine Repair" set.
The chains, I don't know who makes those, I bought them from my local shop. They're designed for ship modles but work perfectly for 1/35th. I got two diffeent sizes and painted them (they're brass).
No PE on this kit. I avoid PE, while a lot of people swear by it, it seems a bit pricey for me (Like this kits wasn't to start with!!!) and it a pain to work with.
Now it's on to the figures and crew area.....
Thanks agani!!!

Hey porkchop........ your right about that being one of the better verlinden sets. I was just going to ask you where you got all the engines. Really cool load. Overall this will look really well when finished. Remeber to weather the rubber part of the track wheels as well! these stand out a bit.

Those engines are damn cool. I only wish I buit german stuff.
With the exposed block core. Cylinder heads and block heads (:p) rust really quick, like overnight if their exposed, and letting dirt get into the block through the heads like that will kill and engines bearings in no time. Maybe put some black gunk on the heads so show where the head gaskets were, so it looks like they just started working on it.
I love the model, the loadout and the completed engine it's perfect

Wrong guy, Plastic battle:
Roger that. I've never taken apart an engine (just check the oil once in a while) so I feeling sorta blindly on that one, I think I may add more gunk as per your suggestion. I may do some more wetaher was well, I haven't fully decided what terrain - if any - I'm going to stick this kit in.
I agee, that disassemebled engine is pretty cool.

Fantastic! I have one of these still in the box ,sitting out in the garage waiting for some 'extras' from Great Models. Think I'll call them about that engine set you mentioned from Verlinden. Great Job! The model ships' chains as well as the ships' rope work great for armor models.
Take care, sgirty

Started the crew tonight (and a T-55). very nice castings from Warriors. I bought both the Famo Crew 1 and 2. Doubt I'm gonna use the two figures in set 2. But he ones in set one are really nice and unique....
