Incredible dio - this must be huge in 1/35!
I love this shot - the light makes it look almost real
BTW, in that last photo, I can't see what the commander is meant to be waving at.....

Thanks guys for the comments.
The wave is for the person sneeking a peek out of the window on the door, I was thinking of putting in a hand but that would have given it away.
Thanks again,
Bob

It is such a pleasure to see see a large diorama being finished after having watched it's progress over time. Especially one that so specifically depicts the liberation of The Netherlands. Your work on the windmill and the surrounding layout deserves every bit of praise, and the Cromwells just add the icing to the cake. A very good job indeed. And thank you, for giving that Cromwell crew a more fitting home than I could...
Thanks for creating this diorama Bob.

Hi Bob
This is just excellent. The windmill looks amazing. What are the overall sizes of the diorama ? it must be huge indeed. Well done on the smaller details (like the water on the road) too !
best wishes
Johan

Brilliant. The whole thing is just beautiful.
I have been following the progress and it has been an inspiration.
Just one small remark, you may want to touch-up the eyes of the driver in the first Cromwell, he looks a bit too wide-eyed. (Or it may-be the photo).
Thanks for sharing the build with us.
Regards,
Pascal

Wow thanks everyone for the kind words.
To answer some questions,
It's 34" tall, just short of 3 feet., and the scale is 1/35.
Pascal I had to reduce the whites on that drivers eyes, they are pretty huge.
Thanks again everyone for taking the time to look through the photos,
Bob
