Hey folks,
I have started a new city street dio with some battle damage, i would like to submit it for review and comments. i hope to get a lot of feedback and suggestions. as you can see i changed a few things since the last submission, like thicker walls etc. The unfinished halftrack is there mainly for reference, i have not yet decided on armor or figures. I hope everyone enjoys the progress and offers comments, thanks for looking,
Gary

There is a "rule" that the buildings must not be parallel to the base of a dio, but I am not sure you have to go with it.
Nice start.

P.S. What material have you used for the buildings and the cobblestone?
TIA

So far everything is resin cast, the whole dio will be resin until i add the final rubble touches and vehicles. most of the base rubble will also be resin as well as the figures. Not sure if I have a resin vehicle to use.

oh plus, it runs parallel because the display area is limited to 11" depth but no limit in length.

The components look good, maybe a step for the door but that can easily be scratch built later.
I'd say watch the depth and evenness of the rain gutters. That doesn't really affect anything now, but when it goes down permanently make sure you don't have a huge drop off into the gutter.

I think the last few primed photos are a bit dark, the step is there in those, but the gutter area is a focal point so it will take some time to get it together right but i agree have to be careful to not get a large drop.
thanks,Gary

measure twice cut once
Look twice post once
I see it now, I got hung up visually on the early pictures.

well my never ending use of black only primer doesn't lend itself well to pictures either, but it's what i'm most comfortable with and seems to give me the best results so i guess we may have to squint a bit til later pics.
