Ola people
I have this Humbrol matt varnish and I want to know if I can spray this with my Airbrush.
If so, is the way of diluting it the same as I do with the enamels?? just with thinner
let me know I really want to know it

Faust,
just use any laquer thinner for Humbrol, and dilute depending on its density. Gurus say the right consistency should be like milk, may be they've got a good instrument to measure desity...

I thin with humbrols own thinner.... sepecially when finishing. I some times use cheaper turpenoids for base coating and filters but for a guaranteed nice finish I would use their own.
But to answer your question ...... if it works for the rest, it should work for the varnish. here in sweden where they use all types of things for thinning, if it is coloured thinner, this will effect the finish. Also beware that varnish can darken the finish!

Rob I use enamel thinners availiable from a paint store at a fraction of the price of humbrol thinners. I thin - 2 parts thinner to 1 part varnish and get good results as you have seen before. :-)
