Hey everyone,
One of the models from the IPMS National gallery really caught my eye.

I'm almost sure I've seen the same kit in a different scheme, but I couldn't find any info on what it may be when I saw it before either. Can any one tell me what I'm looking at here?
Thanks,
Mike McG.

Someone out there must know. It's not me though. The camo scheme looks like it came from a WW1 era German fighter. Awfully nice.

What about a JGDSF Type 61 (Tamiya makes one) :
Such camo scheme is not for the ham-fisted modelers (or the coffee-addicted ones)...
EDIT : Gary beats me to it once again ! (I must improve my typing speed...)

That does seem to be the answer I'm looking for! I thought it looked French for some reason... I was thinking some sort of predecessor of the AMX-30 or something.
Thanks!

It's a JapaneseType 61. It was an experimental scheme from the late `70's, early `80's.
I'm sure it didn't work out because any infantry around walking near it would get dizzy and fall over

I keep expecting to see Godzilla's foot right above this tank!
