Khaki, Olive Drab and a variety of tans and light greens are the colours to use for U.S. military uniforms.
Remember that not all uniforms are identical in colour.
With day to day wear and tear, age and manufacturing differences, there can be a varied appearance and colour in U.S. military uniforms.
Your best bet is to take a look at the various books available on the subject.
Osprey, Concord and Squadron publications all have book series on military uniforms.
Cheers

Sinan,
Try having a look over on Historicus Forma (the tab next to Armorama at the top of the page). I'm sure if you post this question over there you'll get a ton of answers.
All the best.
