Hi Mike Kevin and Goran
Thanks for the kind words.
Goran, for the cast surface, I treated it with a coat of Mr. Surfacer 500. This is the thickest of the range, and can be 'stippled' on with an old brush, and then lightly sanded later to get the result of Sherman casting, which is moreso sunken pits than raised casting. If you cannot get your hands on Mr. Surfacer, I have had sucess with Revell contact cement (with the needle applicator) rubbed on with my finger, although with both, they can go 'stringy' during application. But you just need to stop for a while until it dries, where you can gently sand the unwanted 'string' off. Because of the colour of Mr. Surfacer (white) it can be hard to tell how effective your work is until everything is blended together with an undercoat/primer...
Hope this helps some!
Cheers
Brad
