Does anyone know what kind of helmets these guys are using? It looks like they have integrated com system, and look like either tanker or helicopter helmets??
Thanks
Bill

The one up top is a CVC (Combat Vehicle Crewman - tanker, APC, etc) helmet. The driver looks to be wearing an aircrew (helicopter) helmet.

Acctually, its not a CVC helmet. It is an IBH helmet, Integrated Ballistic Helmet. Here are some clearer pictures of the helmet.
Im not sure what the driver is wearing, although it could be very similar to the IBH thats on the roof as there are different configurations for it.

Here are two closer images of the helmets, this may help clarify things.

The helmet is not an IBH. The IBH has a rubber collar going around the bottom and front of the helmet, and only 800 were made for the SEALS and FBI. I have 2 of them if anyone wants pics for clarification.

Arnold
I'd given up hearing from anyone about this thread. Sure I'd like to see a picture of what you have and also would like to know what the helmets are in these pictures for my Dumvee project I have on going, any thoughts?

The helmet on the top pic could be an IBH, but its hard to tell at that angle and with that goggle strap in place. I have no idea what the other helmet is on the driver. Most of the IBH helmets either use the tri-mount for the NODs or the newer "diamond shaped" NOD mount more commonly seen
used by USMC or Navy Spec Ops. The only IBH in 1/35 is on a Navy SEAL figure by Think 180 Studios (former).
After staring at the pic a little more, it isn't an IBH. The IBH has 2 goggle retaining straps on the back. That doesn't.

Is there some place where we can find what these helmets are? Interesting you mentioned the Seals because in one picture from this series there is an Air Force guy with what was thought to be using a device to call in air strikes. I'll see if I can find the post. Here's the picture
Any thoughts

Interesting stuff!
Great Call Arnold! If you ever want to get rid of one of your IBH's let me know, I collect helmets and an IBH would be a sweet addition
Here is a shot of the helmet up top enlarged and made a bit lighter thanks to Photoshop. The dark area on the side makes it look like an IBH in the original picture, but by looking at this enhanced picture I would say it is the same one that Bill posted in the second batch of pictures.

All the pictures are from the same group of pictures from Military Photos. I'm trying to determine which helmet it is and who these guys are wearing them. Could they be Navy Seals? Anyone know if there are 1/35th figures that have helmets close so I could modify them for use on a model? I'd like to be as accurate as possible.
What does IBH stand for?
Thanks guys
Bill

Good to hear from you, you've been a ghost!
Thanks again for another nomenclature translation. Any idea where I could find other pictures/details about them?

Actually it's Integrated Ballistic Helmet .
I've been out of the loop so long, I don't know what that guy in the HUMVEE is using or what the equipment is.

I am a ghost. I've kept tabs of what's going on here, just haven't been able to respond. Darn school. No I haven't a clue where you could find one of these helmets, no resin maker makes anything I don't think. Best bet for the helmet is to find an air crew figure like a Blackhawk pilot and modify the helmet from there.
Arnold, thanks for the clarification. I wasn't 100% sure.
