My one, not only from Tamiya, would be a B1 Centauro, an Italian Tank destroyer. I've just bougth a resin one for the Cold War Campaign, I spent nearly 150 Euros (almost the same in USD) and to say that's crappy is too positive!!!

I'll second the nomination for the LeClerc, and I'd also like a 152mm Dana SPH or the G6 SPH. I know Panzershop just released the Dana, but it's a little pricy (although it does come with all sorts of extra goodies, so I guess you get what you pay for), but to my knowledge there isn't a G6 out yet.

I'll put a third vote in for the Leclerc. I have the Heller kit and it leaves much to be desired. Oh, and Pullleease "Mr. T" (or anyone else!) a correct Merkava Mk. III D "Baz"

Tamiya's turret is fine, just that its not a T-72M1 turret.

First of all I don't want to be offensive to anyone. Ok I agree that a wish is a wish and all of them have to be respected, but I've seen three votes for the Leclerc that's already on the market (I mean as an injection plastic kit and not resin/vacuum, etc.) and with a bit of good will can be for sure dramatically improved by us modelers. Ok the big T quality is unsurpassed at the moment, but don't you think it will be better to go for something new? I guess an M103, a VAB in NBC configuration, etc? I personally don't see the need to have more releases of the same kit from x manufacturers, but I'd love to have a wider offer covering as much vehicles again. Sorry again for being a bit provocative...

I'd like Tamiya to try something new and challenge themselves as the premiere plastic model-making company. As such, here are my suggestions for "eye-candy."
* US Stryker
* LAV III 25mm with all the add-on bolthead details on the hull
* SFOR Centauro
* German Dingo 4X4
* M1114 or M1116 with rooftop armored cupola
* M1117 ASV
* CV9040 or 9030 (besides the April Fool's joke)
* Striker Light Strike Vehicle
* Mercedes G FAV (USMC and Dutch versions)
* Humvee CLAWS with AMRAAM
* MORE MODERN FIGURES!!!! Tamiya makes nice figures. It's just that their six-figure Desert Storm kit could have used more parts. Their 1/16 WWII figures look nice.
AND if Tamiya wants to beat its chest and try something REALLY hard, how about a 1/25 MODERN American fire engine? It's got hoses, chrome, threadplate, decals, pump panel, rubber tires, clear parts, turning wheels, clear colored lightbar plastic, working doors, detail, gear, full interior, throw in some figures, etc....can't get more complex and grandiose than that!

I also think the 1/16th tamiya figs are nice, but I'd like to see some allied 1/16 figs from them.

:-) I know, I know more German stuff.......I really would like to see them (Tamiya) produce a 38(t) Flakpanzer...they already have the hull, road wheels, etc. for the Marder III. A Mercedes-Benz G-4 Staff Car..they did an awesome job with the Famo I'm sure they could do a super job with the G-4..(Maybe that's a job for Dragon!) And how about some good Injection molded, for those of us with family and mortgage, 1/35 or 1/32 pilot figures and Luftwaffe,Japanese, US and British ground crew figures! That's all I want! Jeff

My wish list would be:
1) B-17 (any model would suffice)
2) G-6 SPG (very interesting type of vehicle)
3) 1/350 of either the U.S.S Indianapolis or the U.S.S Washington, heck even an escort carrier.
4) 1/200 LSM (R) or LCS (L) (landing craft) with options to customize with different weapon systems.
5) M-4A3E8 Sherman
6) M-47 Patton
7) Monitor Riverine Gunboat (Vietnam)
8) Curtiss SOC-2 Seagull Float Plane
9) Ward LaFrance Wrecker (Accurate makes one, but terribly expensive)
10) That tamiya stops RETOOLING ALL of their kits and starts to listen to the customers that we want SOMETHING/ANYTHING new. WOW US WHY DONT THEY.

Hey, on the topic of not yet really made plastic medium and sorely missing how about:
M198 155mm
17lb ATG
Mack NO ( I need a REAL truck to pull my howitzer...er, that isn't quite what I meant!)
Now if they REALLY want to knock my socks off, how about a entire SERIES of tank transporters, like the Oskkosh and MAZ vehicles currently in resin.
Or best yet, take that T-55 and make a BTR-T out of it...PLEASE!!!
(and there are all the engineering vehicles that need to be seen, like the AVLB, the BREM-3, VT-55, etc.)

Someone mentioned an A13 Cruiser tank and a Humber armored car, I second those nominations. I'd also really love to see Mr. T do a British Mk VI b Light Tank. Other things I'd like:
New Panzer II
Flakpanzer 38t
Marder III H
New Stug IV

Having worked for Tamiya's Canadian Distributor, I found the best way to influence the production of new kits is to find a good voodoo priest...
That said, I'd like to see the following:
V-100
Centurion
Ram
Staghound.
Cheers!

How about a decent set of crew figures to replace the craptastic ones that come the old 88 antitank gun kit? I mean the gun itself has aged pretty well but the figures pretty much blow by today's standards.
