I'm also working on a run down mill for another member. Hopefully this will represent a naturally aged/rundown mill house. The first pic. is the ref./inspiration shot.
The smaller building is a boathouse and a riverside gazebo will also be done.

Johan, Branden, thanks. Right now I'm going nuts trying to make the waterwheel [ and watching football ]. The one I'm making now will go on the beergarden, but same - same when I get to the mill. Experiment, experiment !!!

Glenn, maybe you should stop watching football while building the waterwheel; football is pretty bad for the nerves for a start
It seems like the beginning of another large and interesting project from you -in particular you might have fun to do such a roof! I will watch this place for further add-ons

Hi Jean, how's the baby and the wife ? Yeah another project !!!
Hopefully this will zip along also so I can get back to my ships.
ER..............ah.................Ollie I've only been doing this since 2005 meself. I know a little about construction - real size - so that helps.
Also look at some of the work by the man above you [ JBA ] and many others here. There are alot of techniques and how - tos. You also have to be willing to do alot of trial and error building.
T-squares, rulers, mitre boxes, a good steel draftsmans 45, etc.
Above all patience - which I have none of unless I'm relaxing building things.
Thanks Ollie - Cheyenne
