It would most likely be a fully armored M1114 or M1151 like below.
There is no plastic model of one though. To get one, you have to go scratch or use the Tamiya M1025 or M1046 kit along with the resin MIG M1114 conversion.
I have seen them mount an M107 .50cal Barrett sniper rifle up in the gunner's position to explode IEDs as well. The Barrett can be found in the Academy M998 IED Guntruck model or in the Dragon ODS US Snipers figure set.
Good luck.

Thanks .Gino. Are the robots they use able to fit in the back or do they use a trailer. I only know of the Navy's EOD techs do the other branches have them aswell.

Some EOD teams also use M1116s :
like in the picture below :
"Air Force Tech Sgt Steve Stillings, EOD team leader, 506th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, examines an unexploded improvised explosive device found on the side of a road frequently traveled by American Soldiers"
The object covered with a tarp on the back of the Humvee is a EOD robot .
Here are better 2 pics showing one type of carrier on the back of the M1116 (from Discount Ramp, the manufacturer)

Interesting subject, lots of scratch work ahead, I have never seen these before, keep us posted on your progress. Is there a conversion kit for the M1116 rear cab?
Nice work sniffing out those photos Frenchy.
Good luck

Hi Bill
AFAIK ...No...But it's a good idea for the aftermarket guys
On a side note, I've also seen EOD team pics showing Contact Maintenance Truck Humvees, like the one below, modified to carry the robots.

Current EOD does use M1116s. These are uparmored but with a square hatchback rather than the slanted hatchback of an armament carrier. Inside is basically an EOD tool shed. Frenchy's shown a couple good shots, I'll see if I can find anything in my collection. Also Concord's Humvee in Iraq book has a couple nice shots of them as well.
Another alternative is using an M1025 and converting it to carry an S-250 shelter (Real Models makes a relatively hard to find S-250 shelter) or an M998 with a raised canvas cover.

Here is what I found...not as many as I thought I had...hmm
M1116:
M998 with high top canvas cover:
And one I forgot you could use is the humvee with the hard top (Pro Art makes one of these...?)
Hope that helps.

Gino, Frenchy,William,Jeff and Matt. TFTH.
@ Frenchy no need for a 2nd post on the robots and ramps.
@ William check out that link I think you will like what you see. I can't get it to work ill try to re-post it later..
From the pics you all posted.
Ill be using Italeria M99 Desert patrol kit. It needs a lot of work as its a very basic kit but it has the top Jeff described. @ my skill level I can't spend the $ and destroy a good kit in the process. If I like the way it turns out then ill spend the $$ on a better kit with all the other goddies. I think the hard part will be scratching the robot, radio (satcoms) ,bomb suit and computer. I have to stop watching the military channel that's where the idea came from. An EOD tech in bomb suit walking to a cart in the middle of the street with IUDs on it. that will make a nice dio. Sorry for the long post. Sk2 out.

Hi everyone,
I just picked up the tamiya 1025 yesterday and I was wondering what's on the market for HMMVE interiors? I have the ProArt SINCGARS already, but there must be more out there!
oops, as I type this, I see ProArt has a interior kit in the pipes... are there any on the market already?
Thanks,
Mike

Pro Art already has an interior set. It includes many of the interior items out of their DUMVEE kit and some new items. It has been out for some time.
Blast also has a couple interior sets for HMMWVs, along with tires, new weapons ring, etc.

Mike
Gino covered most of the resin. I have the Blast set and it is very nice. There is of course the ubiquitous photo etch by Eduard for the M1025, Lion Roar has one as well that I can't seem to get a hold of. Rob has made use of it and prefers it over the Eduard. There is also the Pro Art Communications set for the interior as well, here's some talk about that and a link to AFV_Rob. https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/105803&page=1
Also a link to the Tech manual for all things HMMWV
