domi - you said it's a plane, lights, and a poster..... That IS the beauty in it. You took something that I know 1/2 the people on this site have the skill to do and YOU did IT.
Painting is Just Canvas and Oil paints.
It's not the pieces of the art that make it great, it's the way You put them together.
Well done!

Sounds great, but only red X's for me. Bad location. Have tried to search directly on Photobucket but no luck. Any ideas?

Hi Domi,
It's a magnificent job you did there! I was watching Band of Brothers recently and thought this would make an awesome diorama and there you've already done it!
The addition of the lights from below is definitely a great touch.
Can I make a small suggestion? a little green light inside the plane near the door would be nice?
Sonny

Very nice dio. Cool idea and composition.
Only thing that caught my eye is the number one man is holding something Griswold bag?/para-bundle?, not exactly sure, in a very relaxed position with one hand. In reality He would not be able to hold on to this at this point in a jump for two reasons. (one the force of the jump and the canopy would rip it out of his hands and two it is totally against what they were trained to do) the other two men are fine. The Griswold bags could be clipped to the para-harness so you could attach it under one of the arms. Anyway just my 2 cents. I agree with the green light idea. Other than that it is an amazing dio.
Matt
Oh I made a mistake Just noticed the extra parachute "wraps" hanging out the poor. He would be the number four man. Any way I was referring to the trooper on the far right.

I am really happy seeing Domi becoming a household name here at Kitmaker. I have to reckon he is one of my preferred diorama makers around because of what he shows here: a pure *talent* when it comes to organize settings and display ideas that will be new to everybody.
I mean, purely technically, I know a few people that paint figures better than Domi or that are able to build and paint a tank better too, but with pure nerves and a great sense of invention, Domi manages always gets away with it and creates the pieces that are the most striking. Every time he shows something I can't wait for the next one.
lately there was some diorama display of an American exhibition around these places. You had *TWO* different dioramas with the same old 'shhh" idea: some german soldiers sneaking behind some others resting.
Domi would not have been the third.

hello
it cheers to me that you like diorama
as far as the green light, it has it, but
perhaps by badly a contact one does not ignite,
now it is going to be very difficult to fix it

Hello Jean-bernad
well, your opinion is very pleasant, but
not completely objective since although
we do not know ourselves personally you are my
friend
As you know my English is very poor so with himself not to understand absolutely
your second paragraph
me you explain it
greetings

hello Matthew
you are all the right, I saw the failure when it was already finished (usually it happens)
as it excuses single podria to say to you that better the soft plastic figures are very difficult to work and that not encontre.
thus I had to transform the legs arms
besides to do the packages to me of the parachutes.
I hope to improve in the following work
greetings and thanks for your commentary

Domi, friend or not, everybody can see what i see. As you know, I place the qualities of ideas above most other consideration, at this little game you ARE one of my prefered diorama makers, as simple as that!
Please post here "the mobile church", "el toro", "the p38's bath" etc etc people need to see those!
As for my second paragraph, i will translate it to you in 10 years time, when i finally learn spanish
