Hi Guys,
Here's some pics of the Centar Dozer I'm attempting to build. It's the Tamiya kit with the Accurate Armour Conversion.
Again made a mock interior as I wanted the hatches open
The beginnings, you have to cut a fair bit out of the top hull:
Next I made a mick interior:
Then I mated the upper and lower hull:
Next I added the raised surround on the new rear engine deck:
I added and did some weathering on the tracks as doing this when the side frames are on might be a bit difficult, in the clear light of day:
I threaded the lifting blocks for the blade: (nightmare!!)
This evening after some thought and questions I mounted the side frames and secured the blade:
Still a lot of work to do on this one.
Al

Good grief Alan! You don't waste any time do ya?!!! Looks great so far!
I need to get me a construction or ARV model someday. Kinda reminds me of the "Fighting Seabees" movie. Theres more to armor than actual fighting vehicles!
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jeff,
Resicast do a neat looking US dozer, just right for the Seebees. I saw some great US Navy trucks on site a while back, can't remember who made them though, but they looked great.
Cheers

Alan, you must never sleep
The rate you pump out these builds is phenomenal.
It's looking good, definately one to put in my desktop folder.
Cheers

Hi DJ and John,
Thanks for looking guys.
Dj,
I use Tamiya paints mostly. XF 61 Dark Green and XF 62 Olive Drab about a 50/50 mix. Add to that some squirts of Vallejo Yellow Ochre to lighten it up.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
a few daylight pics of last nights work. The main part of the build is done and I just need to add a few small parts and then get on with painting it.
