With this diorama i wanted to prove you can produce a high intensity diorama with a lot of action on a small base. A lot of new diorama builders try to over stretch themselves by attempting to create very large diorama's, When in fact they could tell there story in a fraction of the space.
A large diorama can mean many years of build work, to which it is easy to get distracted by other models and quickly lose interest in your main project.

You nailed the high action.
Have you shown this one before - I have a feeling I've seen it before.

I think i posted a couple of pictures when i first built it a while back in the forums. This is the first real OD of it.
The rust was created using a liquid solution called instant rust, which comes in two parts a grey undercoat which contain small iron fillings and a rusting solution which when applied to the base coat causes it to rust just like the real thing. Add some pastels and oil washes to harmonise it to the base.
Ill have to dig the base out again to get the dimensions
