Yum yum yum yum!!!! Drooling on my keyboard!!!!
Nice new side mirror mounts. Nice new hubs. Nice suspension springs. And DO I SEE AN ENGINE SOMEWHERE????
Maybe not a full engine but better than the plastic screen that Academy provides.
Nice interior. Radio looks like the Academy one though:
Can't wait! I just love competition

I can't wait either. The hatch is the correct configuration, interior matches the load plan that is found in the HMMWV's TM.
The MK-19 Mod 3; 40mm machinegun and the ammo can looks very accurate. That alone is worth the kit.
BTW, guys I sent an email to Tamiya US's customer service to trry to find out when it will be released. However, it maybe up to 10 days before I get a reply. But, here's their Toll free number if anyone wants to try to get a faster answer 1-800-826-4922 (USA)
I didn't see an engine being included with the kit. However, CMK does make an engine and accessories for the M988 family for Tamiya and Academy. I found it on the Squadron's website. Here's the photo
I didn't see any PE on Tamiya's website. However, Eduard makes a PE detail set they call the M1025 Hummer Avenger. cat#35497 http://www.eduard.cz/products/pdf/n35/35497_1.pdf " TARGET="_blank"> http://www.eduard.cz/products/pdf/n35/35497_1.pdf includes PE for the kevlar doors, floor mats, hood latches, complete PE for front dash board, PE hinges for the doors, PE for side reflectors, running lights, masks for creating a dusty windshield, etc.

Hmmm, only 20 days.
Is that US or Japan release?
Hope we see more than one version, I'm sure we will. I think ALL german WWII armor has been done, right?
