Aloha everyone!!

Been busy working away at finishing up some kits and now I'm looking forward to my next build. Just received my Tamiya Leo A6 from Great Models and was wondering if anyone knew about a conversion kit that has come out (or is coming out) that includes anti mine panels for the front hull area and other details. Could someone please tell me if I was dreaming? Could have thought for sure someone was doing one.

I assume that you are refering to the 2A6M version. If you are than yes there is a conversion kit out there. Perfect Scale Modellbau has a conversion kit to reproduce the M version. I believe it is designed to fit the Tamiya kit. If you see the blog "Leopard 2A6M" take a look. A Canadian Leopard is being built using parts of that kit.

Thanks alot Matthew and Mike! That conversion was precisely what I was looking for. Thanks to for the link to the previous discussion on this topic. Since that discussion do you know if anyone has in works a SLAT ARMOUR set?

The Perfect Scale conversion only includes the add-on armour for the belly of the tank....no upper glacis armour as seen on the Canadian tanks....it is not part of the regular 2A6M.

Be patient for an aftermarket slat armour set....one will likely come along...after market producers like to hold their cards close to their chest....I would expect it to come from both Eduard and Voyager.
