I have not posted anything on this build since april last year due to lack of motivation. After some other projects the motivation is back and here are some pics of the interior. It looks bit crappy on the pics, but that is mainly because most of it is just blue tacked on. I prefer to build all the parts before I paint and glue them on since I suspect this one will be a Bi**h to paint. A big part of the interior is scratchbuilt and what made me loose interest was the seats. Well, they are casted and built and what is left is mainly detailing and a lot of wireing. It is still a lot of work to do, but it will be a piece of cake compared to what is allready done. I realise that a lot of the details will not be visible when finished, but this is one of those builds where it is important to me just to know they are there. Comments and critics are as usual welcome.

Sorry for the bad pictures.

Btw, for those who is not familiar with this vehicle, it is a convertion of a Tamiya M577 and will be the Bn command post vehicle I commanded for the last 4 years when it is finally finished.

That's damn impressive. You can fit a lot of stuff in a M577 Especially like the details of the wiring harnesses and the fuel filler pipe or is that the bilge pump pipe.

What do you use on the seat cushions?

Hopefully I'm inspired enough do the M577 FDC track that I was on in Germany. Thankfully it had less electronics.

I casted them with epoxy resin. Used the cushions from a Humvee with some small modification and made a mold from modelling clay.

Looks great Erik. I can' t wait till it has some paint on it. Maybe I will get inspired and do an M577A3 as we had in 1-39 FA in OIF. I have all the parts, I just need to build it. Keep up the great work.

I hear you on the motivation issue. I have a couple of projects on hold but seem to be building them on a rotating basis. Build a bit then chance and repeat as necesary.

M577 looking mighty fine. Please keep us posted.

Thanks guys, glad you liked it.
I guess it is unfair not to show the real thing, but when I started looking for any good overwiev pics I found that I have about 1000 detail pics, but very few which shows the whole thing. However, I found two, the first one shows most of the interior and the second one is from a FTX with my old CO checking if my Staff NCO's are on top of the situation (which they of course were.) I leave it to you guys to judge if I manage to capture the looks of interior or not.
