I recently bought AFV Club's M88A1 kit, and was wondering if there are any photoetch sets out there still available (I hear the headlight guards are very hard to detach from the sprues without damaging them, and noticed that one of them is basically torn to bits on my sprue already). I know Eduard made a set (#35098), but it is OOP (according to their Web site) and I haven't been able to find any on the net. Does anyone know where I can get the Eduard set or if any other company makes a comparable set?
Thanks!

Are there any M88A1 PE sets?

Hannants in England have it.
If the URL doesn't work search for M88 only and you'll see it
or
http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/index.php?CATEGORY=&DIVISION=&MANUFACTURER=Eduard&TYPE=&order%5B%5D=arrived+desc&order%5B%5D=code+asc&CODE=&SCALE=&KEYWORD=M88&NUMPERPAGE=25
I have ordered from them many times and I always get great service.
I found the OOP M997Ambulance PE there as well AND the IED M998 that was impossible to find here in Canada.
Good luck

Thanks for link, Bill, but I think that the set they have is for the M88 (the Vietnam version) and not the M88A1.

IMHO, judging by the fret pictures, most of the parts can be used with the A1 ....

That's good news, Frenchy! I had no idea the M88 set would be accurate for an M88A1, and had assumed that most part would not be correct for the A1 variant. Since the M88 set is fairly common, now I just need to find the cheapest place to buy it! Thanks!
