What uniforms did GD StuG III crewman wear? The gray uniforms with red pipping or the Tanker Black Uniforms with pink pipping? This would be while fighting in the East.

Stug IIIs crews were considered Artillery support vehicles and therefore would be in Field gray uniform with red piping. if you are considering a late summer 1943 time frame you might want to think about the summer weight uniform which was reed green Herringbone twill .
