Where should I go on the net as my Hobby Store has few buildings or ruins for my diorama.

I'm always for scratchbuilding, so I suggest you to head to the nearest supermarket and buy some plaster and cat litter. Once back home, after your 2or 3 bucks investment, either with scrap plastic or wood build a mold for the walls, prepare the plaster and pour it in the mold. Once dried plaster can be scribed, cut and glued easyly. Scribe it with a skarp knife with the patterns you like, cut it with a razor saw, gue it with white glue. You will see that's fun and with the money you would spend in a single ready made building from the hobby shop, you can put together a town for a 100.000 inhabitants!!!

Sladog

I agree with Scoccia. Making them yourself is not as hard as it sounds and it is so much fun to do.
I also make all my own buildings now and it`s real fun I make them with styrofoam the kind used in the isolation of roofs great versatile stuff.
here is a link to an article I wrote about my winterdio campaign diorama where a step by step of the whole dio is written down
Distraction step by step

Another article from this site is MAking a dio from scratch this is an article written by Keith Magee (KFMagee) and is really a good article

hope it is of any help

Not to sound like a broken record (ok I just dated myself) - I agree with scoccia and Faust - scratch building is a great way to get exactally what you want. It's inexpensive and after a bit of practice easy to do. The rewards are huge.

Oooopsss!!! I forgot: cat litter is for the ruins, the cheaper the better. You can crush it yourself to get the right granularity to better suit your needs....

Gotta admit - scratchbuilding is the most fun of all, but sometimes you may have the skills but not the imagination. I make most of my buildings using Balsa Foam to create the master, then pour an RTV mold and cast the finished product in Dental Plaster for the most detail. Scratchbuilding is a FUN thing to do... but hey, if ya gotta "buy", I'd love the business!
(thanks for the "plugs" guys... your commission checks are in the mail!)

I think "great"might be a bit overboard... functional and fast is probably more accurate... but Don Magee did a lot of work in little time - so I'm pleased!
