I may have jumped the gun here. See I bought two Eduards Stryker slat armor sets, after looking them over I see it is for the Trumpeter kits. To be honest I never thought to look and see if there were two sets out. So my question is will they work with the AFV kit. I plan on doing both M1126 and M1130 CV/TACP Stryker’s. I know the differences between the two like the detail and early production detail. But is there really a big difference between the two’s basic dimensions, will the slat armor set fit.
I also have one more question, I’ve looked around for some detailed shots of the blast panels, and yes I’ve seen many of the ones with the armor added on. What I’m after is like its thickness, they’re shape, how many are there and how far are they off the vehicle
Thanks Guys,
Joe

The problem with the PE for the Trumpeter Stryker is that it will not fit the AFV Club kit, because the dimensions of the two kits are totally different. Look here
The Trumpeter kit is shorter and wider, that means, all the panels will only fit to the Trumpeter kit, properly.

As Miloslav's photo demonstrates, you can make the Trumpeter slat fit the AFV kit.
As for the differences between the M1126 and M1130, if I read the reviews of both AFV kits correctly, the outside dimensions are pretty much identical. Head over to PMMS and you'll see that both kits share the same hull and most sprues.
Hope this helps!
