Aloha everyone!
I don't know if this was asked before, and if so I apologize, but can anyone inform me why I've seen Leo 2A6's with both style of side skirts, the old and new? I read somewhere that it had to do with the new style being storaged away during peace time training. Is this true? Or is this just a stupid question because to those who serve on these vehicles could care less which one is used
Thank You!
Kurt

The side skirts do get changed for training and for operations.
The older style scalloped side skirts are lighter and easy to flip up for maintaining the track than the thicker and heavier flat side skirts used for operational deployments.
