Here's my build of the lovable SOMUA S35. This is the old Heller 1/35 kit with Jordi Rubio barrel, Friul tracks, and Tamiya crewman. Enjoy!

Thanks for the nice words, guys! With the exception of some issues putting the lower hull together ans the lousy rubber band tracks, the kit is pretty nice and was an enjoyable build. I was especially impressed with the full (non-working) suspension that the side skirts unfortunately cover. I think you'll really enjoy putting this little guy together.

Looks good. Those early war French camouflage schemes are very nice.
Maybe you could give the headlight a small drop of varnish or filler as I think you forgot a sinkhole in the lense.
Anyway, good job - thanks for sharing

Beware of using the Tamiya figure (or Heller's own for that matter) as the crews of cavalry tanks like the S-35 didn't wear leather jackets. Instead they had jackets in the same material as the over-trousers, the cut was similar to the leather jacket but without the horizontal seam around the chest and back.

Hi Jesper,
Yes, I really the look of French tanks and the camouflage schemes that really set them apart.
Actually, the "sink hole" is an annoying trick of optics due to the shape of the back of the lens. The front is in fact smooth. But from that angle, it looks weird.
Here is a better angle for viewing the lens:
