Hi all,
Im new to this site, so here is a few photos of one of my shermans, I finished this about a year ago, all comments most welcome.

the interior has been scratch built, the hull is the PNZ WORKSHOP hull, as the hull in the kit is wrong, the wheels are AFV club, and the tracks are FRUILS, the ABER etch set has been used.

mant thanks for looking,
malc.

Gday Malcolm and firstly welcome!
Really nice job here mate.
Glad that I see the correct hull used.; I think it is terrible manufacturers can get it sooo wrong, and the unknowing modeller suffers...
A couple if things... I'm certain that the interior of the hatches would be OD as per the exterior. This was common to Shermans so I couldn't see this being any different?
The periscope guards look far too thick (but I am a little pedantic in this area) and there is one missing off the turret hatch?
Love the dusted look you have given 'her'...
Any plans for a diorama?
Cheers
Brad

Hi Brad,
thanks for your comments, yes the interior of the hatches should be OD.
And the brush guards on the hatches are from the spares box, as the detail set I was using already had these used, on the sherman before.
Many thabks for the heads up on the quard on the turret hatch, like all models, whilst I was making this i had very little reference, just after I finished the kit, I found some great reference in the shape of stevev Zalogas FUNNIES book, aint it always the same way

thanks for looking, cheers mate,
malc.
