yo nick ! you asked me on the old post what weapons we used down the border, if you still want to know they included SLR, GPMG, LMG, SMG, M16, M203, M79 grenade launcher SHOTGUNS, 9 MIL PISTOL, COLT 38 SPECIAL, LONG SHOTS (SNIPER RIFLES) , 177 COLT COMMANDO, and later on we had the choice of the SA80 and LSW but no one carried them as they were and still are rubbish ! , some of us also had bi pods on our SLR,s and M16,s and i dont know about other units but we never wore body armour or helmets down there, sometimes we had to move fast (VERY FAST) hope this helps cheers!
