Well that's it for the mill wheel and race, all that's left now is to make a small roof over about .. maybe a quarter of the top of the wheel.

Frank, the brass round heads are ship nails from Artesiana [ sp ? ] Latina.
Brad, cut down the drain scupper so Brian can rust and green it up proper.
Thanks for lookin - Cheyenne

The tree gives a old well worn used look. That couple with the rock details on the 'island' really set off the left side of this piece.

its beautiful. it really is. and I hope Im not jumping the gun here, but dont put troops in it unless its a combat scene.if not,put in damsels or a couple in love. im tired of seeing military dioramas with a civilian theme and a pretty building. if its war then wreck the wheel to look like it was in a combat scenario. put bullet holes and splinters and burned marks everywhere with men fighting for their lives. however if you are going to have a group of officers standing around then forget it...put in women gathering water instead..

Mike C., thanks man.

Scott, yeah the tree I had to throw in, just looked to nekkid. When I speak to Brian I've got to mention lots of tuft grass around the perimiter of the race, with some small shrubs and a beaten path to the wheel.

Mike P., thanks, really don't know how it will be populated cause it's a build for another member - Parks20. He's made mention of different scenarios but nothing's in stone.

Claude, thanks man, I may prime it but Brian will have to paint her up.

Jean, thanks, and how are you ? As mentioned this is for another modeler, a window here and there, a small roofing cover over the mill wheel, mortar all the stonework [ yeeech ]. Yeah just about 99% complete.

Amazing, really outstanding work. You've given me some great ideas on how to do a couple of things different on my work. I'd be happy with just being able to do half as well.
I would love to see how you would finish it off, maybe next time.
Thanks for posting,
Bob

Hi Alan, how's the relocation going ? Thanks mate, get the pier done, and we can then discuss NanRed !!!!!!!!

Bob, nonsense, your windmill is extraordinary, I've learned a thing or two watching that build, my favorite is still the wee birdhouse !!!!! I've been doing these structures for two years now and teaching myself, and learning from other members works all along. I really like building structures, that's my relaxation thing, that and the History or Sci-Fi channel while building.

Jim, thanks man !!!
