I decided to haul one out of my stash.

about 3 night's work.I used ambroid liquid glue to create a cast surface on the hull. The only aftermarket I am using is the Jordi Rubio barrel.

I think the Dragon T-34s are my favorite Soviet tank models, hands down.

Looks good for three nights worth of work!

I learned a few shortcuts. As you see in the top picture,I put the hub on the roadwheel.I left them on their sprues, and used that as a handle for painting. Also,I make a quick decision to go to wire for handholds, since Dragon has notoriously hard to remove handrails.
And the fit was very good overall anyway.

Looking good so far.
You're at this point after just 3 nights?

I got this same kit on my workbench at the moment. It has been in progress for about three years now...
(well, most of that time it has spent in the box, as I temporary lost interest after finding out I needed a different type of gun mantlet)

You have an interesting way of mounting the inner wheel halves first (or are the glued on yet?) I think most builders would leave off the whole wheels to paint them separetely.

The inner halves are loose, just in place to build the track around. Then I slide the track off the "form" and paint it.Then I reinstall the track, and add the outer wheels.I will post pictures.
