Hi All
I'm thinking of building a 2nd Dragon Wagon, and I want to make it VERY detailed, like adding ( foto parts & resin conversion parts.).
Just want to make a nice SHOW KIT out of it,my 1st one was a OOB build.
That I made as a gift for a friend.
He just moved and LOST the kit...OUCH...so I told him I would build him a better one.
So input on how to build my friend a most AWSOME Dragon Wagon I can build,I give thanks in advance for infomation.
Cheers.
Mike.

Hi Mike,
ABER and EDUARD both do extensive etched metal updates for the 1/35 Dragon Wagon to include interior, trailor & exterior cab detailing - about 3 sets by each manufacturer I believe.
Your friend - he "LOST" a Dragon Wagon model? ....ummm......right!
If he can't take care of it after the time and effort you spent on the OOB build - why are you going to all the efort to build another one for him with all the bells & whistles?
Still - your call on that one I suppose. Good luck anyway with the project.

Mike-- you are a true friend. There are some great shots of placing the M-26 (with or without trailer) in a diorama posted here, Track Link and Missing Lynx. A fellow from Australia detailed one crossing a bridge with members of the crew looking out the doors to ensure there was ample space to accomodate the vehicle. Very impressive. Let me know if you cannot locate it.

I haven't built mine yet but I picked up one or two sets by Royal Model which contain some very nice PE and resin bits. Also got the Royal Model .50 cal.

It's huge. How do you lose it? Don't give him a Dora railway gun!

Royal Model makes a PE detail set for the chain drives. I've considered getting this myself but it's pretty costly...

Hi Mike,
I agree with Roy its a fair bit of money to super detail the dragon wagon but I'll give you an idea of what its like to do.
It took me 9 months to fully detail mine and then it wasn't finished because I wanted to get the weathering right.
I have mine on missing lynx and there is a huge challenge to do this model.
I used the royal model set, eduard etch for the trailer and armoured plates as well as the eduard interior set.
Verlinden 50cal with mission models 50 cal bullets.
Huge project
as listed below
and the link on the other web page

I hope you find this reference helpful if you are planning to start a huge project.
Cheers
