Hi, i was wondering which paints you could mix to achieve the color challenger 2s are painted in Iraq. Preferably, model master and tamiya paints would be most helpful to me

I used Model Master Sand, FS33531, with some yellow added to it for my Op Telic Warrior model. The color looks pretty close to me.

I use a mixture of 3 parts Tamiya XF-60 to 1 part XF-3 flat yellow,gives a very close shade.

Hello
Patrick, the Tamiya colour mixes I used for my Chally 2 were out of the Osprey modelling the Challenger. Conveniently, the sample pages of the book that Google Books has, includes the colour mix charts!

Heres mine.
Nice but can you take another with a plain background then the focal point will be the Challenger.

I used Tamiya's Buff and white about 50/50 and added just a few drops of yellow to the mix to get my color ...remember just a few drops goes a long way with the yellow ..

Model Master has a British Armor Sand color Acrylic paint, I just bought two bottles for when I start my Chally 2
I got it from Hobbylinc.com, so I would recommend there
