Wish it was lighter, I can't even see the Mantlet. Good news though - the absence of them in the kits were always puzzling to me.

Hi Chris,
Yes it allway got me to why Mantlet Covers where never made to come with the Centurion kits. The kits are AWSOME and adding the new covers will really make the kit better.
Or it's a AM trick to make more money ?
Who knows all I know is I like the idea.
Cheers.
Mike.

Well, at least I only have one built Centurion to add this to. Have not built the NATO one just because I thought this would happen. Don't trust my skill will miliput to do them by scratch, so I'll be looking for a couple of these babies. Any idea when we might see them in the US?

Hi Doug,
I don't know right now and I asked my friend the same thing, more like (2008) is my guest.
What I do for mantlet covers is I use wrapping tissue and water with a mix of 50% water and 50% white glue. For my RAAC Centurion I punched a hole for the barrel and did 4 layers of the tissue and added a foto set for the bolt downs on the mantlet.
Cheers.

Hello Mike, I've done the tissue and white glue mantlet thing before. It's getting those pesky reinforcing thingys on the top of the Centurion mantlet that has stopped me. I've gotten lazier in my old age. But I have gotten more patient for others to get the after market goodies out. (yes, I did attempt doing the mantlet and wasn't happy with how it went.)
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi Doug,
Sorry that the tissue for the mantlet did't work out for you,the AM stuff will solve alot of the mantlet for the AFV Club Cenurions.
Keep on checking around and soon as you know it you'll have the NEW mantlet covers.
COOL STUFF!
Cheers.

Hi Mike
I've gone to the link you posted and it doesn't work (cut and pasted it into a browser, even added the period before the htm). I went to the sembado.com website and scrolled up and down the page a few times and still couldn't find it. Can you post the photo please?

Thanks Gary, I found it too and lightened up the image a bit so we could hopefully see a bit more detail:
