Wow, looks impressive!
The camo lines are just right!

Did you use any decal setter/softener to apply the markings?

Thanks Peter ! I used Micro Set and Sol to fix the decals onto the Zimmerit coat. I must say the decals of the Dragon kit are top quality, thin but extremely strong.

Guy,
What is the Dragon kit number? Can't read it on the decal sheet. Thank you.

Looking excellent. I do like the way you made the gun muzzle brake cover. Did you use milliput (or similar) or tissue paper?

cheers

Hello Mike, I used Milliput Standard (Green, two components you know). And thin copper wire to finish it. Tooth pic to make small folds. Greetz Guy

Guy,

Your off to another fine project. Thank you for posting the WIP pics. I would never have thought to use the Tamiya putty to simulate the casting texture. Looks really convincing in this scale.

Anyhow, your build is coming along great! Looks like you have mastered your airbrush as your como is right on the money. Can't wait to see it finished.

I think the camo is just PERFECT! Really nice, subtle and totally like you see in photos.
Wondering though, how are those damned rubber-band tracks? Are they tight, or fit-right?

Wonderful looking piece of armor you have there. Could pass for 1/35 scale.

Eddy : I mix it with a little plastic glue and then I brush it on VERY carefully with an old, small brush (stiff pig hair brush) by tapping. Don't work too long, because plastic glue will damage the surface, it melts you know...
The exessive little peaks can be sanded away carefully and then TATTAAAAA !!!

Karl : I will keep the tracks untill it's all finished. When they appear not to look the right stuff, I'll replace them.

Mathew : that is my goal as a 1/35 builder, to do the same in 1/72 (if I succeed, I make the jump to 1/72 permanently ???)

Tx for your kind replies gentemen ! Guy

One of the best I've seen !!!

Weathering is top notch and the rust is also very very good !!!

Can't wait to see it finished.

Best Regards

Hello guys,
I have continued painting and assembling, it's almost done now.
A couple of pics before the finish :

I'll do my best to make more pics from different angles tomorrow (then it will be finished too).

Ok Mike, I will share this secret with you !
I use a piece of paper, dip it carefully in a bit of thinned oil paint and push it gently onto the skirts. Result : scrapes of battlefield action.

Cheers for that. So the edge of the paper pressed along the side?
