Wanted to make a photo reportage over my first wall and a piece of a house.
Need first to make a wooden mal to begin with and a laste piece for seperation if you need more model as i did




Cover it with aluminuim folie. The plaster will then not stick on the wood.





Then i use a matches box and cover it with alumiun to make a door. The platic above is packing folie used for the protection of material ( you can find if you buy electronic material for exemple )




I used the packing folie then cover it with the aluminuim folie it get easy to make any shape you wish




Poor then the plaster in the mal wait a while for drying the you can start giving some shape on you model




When dry control it by taking slowly one of the aluminium effect which is here a window




It was dry so i took every aluminium effect away



Clean the other sice smoothly




I added the hole with a electrical drill be gentel it is still plaster. Then glue the 2 pieces of the house together it start to look like something there.




I wanted the wall to get a better effect so brook it this way by wraping it using towel other wize it will break on the way you might not wish too.



And at laste Painting it




BY THE WAY for the hawk eyes expert the middel house is not mine it is the Verlinden Production Italian Farm Ruin it will also be used in my niewe dio also.
I hope i am as clear as it can you understood everything of my English might be that it sounds sometimes not english my apologie about that i do my best. The pictures should give you the most informations anyway. I do not say that it is the way to make a ruins of a house of wall but this is MY way.

Do it. It's easy and cheap.

It`s not only that but it is the challenge to make as much as I can myself. At this moment I am scratchbuilding complete dios and it is much more satisfactoring than simply buying stuff paint it glue it together and put it into the dio.
No if you make it yourself then you give the building/wall/doorway/whatever soul

I like the affect the foil has on the edge.

The pictures tell the story very well.

I have used a technique similar to yours in the past. Aluminum foil works out well when creating the desired shape.

If you go to the features section, there is a link for submitting items. You could submit your photos and description as an article, and that way it gets listed in the features section, and doesn't disappear in the mass of old forum posts.

What a great idea. But what type of plaster do you use? I have been experimenting using plaster from a filler material i.e: Pollyfilla but it keeps cracking. Please advice.
