like to start a campaign. for those who might remember I posted something on a campaign idea I had....KInda dull so I rethought it. this would be the third post(jim if your here please the delete the one in site talk)

Topic: 1/35 sherman tank at action(no specific time or place)

requirements: must be 24" by 24" or whatever is nesecary for the dio not more than the previous size. Must include rubble or a destroyed building of some kind.must show a sherman tank(or an AFV with sherman type chassis i.e. priest or m-10) in action against some sort of enemy force(sherman may be isreali).must also include two figs or more.It also must include water of some kind.(water must be visible.ice is allowed)

classes:unmodified:totally oob
slightly modified:slight modifications, borrowed parts from other kits, rifle slings etc.
modified: modified with P/E or many scrath parts.
heavily modified:covered in P/E, lots of spare parts from other kits, etc.

Timing: I do not know what start time is best so any advice would be welcome

p.s.if there is anything I should add please respond in this post the purpose of this campaign is to give people who haven't built shermans a good reason to do so(that means you dave ) and it is always fun to be in a friendly competition

Don't mean to sound like the Online Gestapo here - BUT.... if you want to bring a campaign into a formal project, you need to coordinate this through one of the given forum moderators.... Anders, Jim, Ken, etc.

THEN... we need to go to the calender to see what available dates are out there that won't overlap on other similar campaigns. There is already an armor campaign ongoing, and one for dioramas as well, which will end in May. We usually like to see a month or so between any campaign for a given genre, so late June might work if there is enough interest.

If we don't keep a handle on these sort of things, then we will have a zillion proposed campaigns and little coordination to make sure they come off smoothly.

Good campaign idea. I think June would be a better month. It would give the guys that are in campaigns already time to get their stuff done, and then recoup a little before launching a new one.

I like the idea though!
