Does anyone know of any kits made of the T34/85 that have a reasonably detailed interior? Thanks in advance.

None off hand Dragon and tamiya are about the only two plastic kits I know off. On resin there must be one. Could try verlinden as he has exterior kits or eduard they might interior. As of T/34 they are pretty crude inside, not all the creature comforts as seen in german armor. Hope this helped

Denizen, Eduard makes a detail set # 35174 T-34/85 Interior Detail Set it's for the RPM kit.
Jaguar has the interior kit # 63524 T-34/85 Interior that's for the Dragon kit...a bit pricey @ around $36!

I bought the T 34/85 from RPM and Maquette ( it' s the same, I 'm kits addicted ! ) and you could find inside kind of the motor and transmission...You could too built the pieces individually ( as the turret ( korean style ), and tracks ).
Anyway, you 'll 've a lot of work to bring the beast to today 's kits standards....!
've a nice day !

Hey welcome aboard Michel!...you too Denizen. Glad to have ya here!
I tried to find some reviews from either of these kits...but nill. I'm not into Soviet armor so I'm not sure how any of the kits are. Thanks for the input Michel.

Didn't Zvezda release a T-34/85??? What about that one? Maybe that one has an interior. Can anyone comment on the quality of that kit?

I have the Zvesda T34-85 in 1/35th scale,no interior with this kit.It is available as a Italeri kit or a Zvesda kit here in Canada.Does not look like a bad kit in the box, sure hope it goes together better than the Zvesda BT-5 kit I also have, which is a bit of a rough build fit wise.

I am an avid Russian armor modeller so I can speak to a few of these kits. The Tamiya kit is one of their older offerings and if I'm not mistaken it has the motorization holes in the hull and basically isn't all that accurate. The DML kit is very good. Zvezda has come along way from their original T-60 kit and are actually one of the best (IMHO) eastern European manufacturers out their. Their line of T-34 and variants is suppossed to be the most accurate on the market. As to interiors, I've heard that the CMK Transmission set is wonderful and the Jaguar also good.

Adam, that's exactly what I heard. It probably will not be as easy to build as the DML kit, but at least it is accurate. It's easier for me to get the Zvezda kit than the DML kit.
