Started off trying to use Verlindens M4 Hybrid upper hull but had to give up. (it was soooo bad) . I had a hybrid on the shelf that I had built using an Italeri M4A1 and a Tamiya M4 hull (before Dragons hybrid was released) and it was in need of fixing. So apart it came.

The rear hull plate is a tamiya part from a M4A3. It seems that it was this type of plate was used on the Argie M4 hybrid fireflys during a rebuild.
The turret is from Tamiya with with the oval loaders hatch (Cool ) The mantlet is from Verlinden and the barrel from a Heller AMX-13 (105) lengthened with an Academy M51 barrel.

Thanx Gary. Have not seen that one but did find an Argentine modelling site with a bunch of pics(walk-a-around) of a Hybrid. With those from your site they answer a lot of questions on layout. Love the pics of the engine and gun installations. Excellent stuff.

Again, thanx

Thanx Roy, I have checked both of those links out.
I have managed to do the rear engine bulkhead and attaach the upper/ lower hulls together.

The engine deck is not yet glued in place, few more bits to add first. The extension for the air intake has been added to the upper hull.
A little blurry but this is the engine bulkhead which looks a lot like a M4A3. Am working on the grill work for the huge cavity .

Not done much to the turret as I have been concentrating on the hull.

Bit more progress. Added some detail to the turret but the main effort was building the air intake louver for the rear hull. Tried using styrene, did not work. Tried using brass, was on the right track but not there. Then remembered about a part from a Dragon A4. Had to md it a bit (width & length) but it all worked out.
