Just a short e mail.
We have started a new branch of M.A.F.V.A. here in Maryport, Cumbria.
To date we have 7 new members, plus there will be a few more new members soon. We ran a open day at our local model club this year and we had over 350 people came through our doors. We are in the process of organising a model show in 2008. Our model club doors are open on a tuesday night from 19.30 to 22.00 we have between 15 to 20 kids turn up with a few adults.and on a thursday night same time this night is mainly for adults. A few kids turn up but there,s about 12 to 15 adults turn up.and we are open on a sunday from 12.00 to 15.00 sundays are for all members. So as you can see we get a little busy from time to time. We cover all types of modelling we have members from 7 years to 70 years old. We meet in the Fleming Place Social Club on Fleming Square, Maryport.
We are all proud.to have a new M.A.F.V.A branch here in Maryport, Cumbria.
