After a few months break on this AIM project I come along an option for the loaders hatch. It call for N13 or M4. What are the differences between the two, also what's the deal for the non-slip blow off panels.
Thanks,
Joe

Hum yeah thanks…
A serious question here Gary, what is a frog…not being funny but what is a frog.
No not really or does it help me...like your answer.
Not sure if you own the kit or even looked it over, but there’s an option for the panels. There is set one (Q12-Q13) or set 2 (Q14-Q15). Sorry for my ignorance but I just want to make it right before some calls me on the wrong parts.
So did you figure out what a frog was yet!

Hey Joe, your "lip" questions was posted here :
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/91698&page=1
Can't help you with what's the difference between the 2 types of blow our panels.
Looks like the ones with 3 round thingys--are for M1A1HC. Smooth ones belong to the M1A1D..(Digital) or "D"s in transition into AIM versions. ..SOMEONE help out here...!
One option that also missing in the kit is which Abrams actually have parts R2 and R3 installed.
A Frog is an amphibian..

I just don’t’ understand why simple questions have to turn into this…really why! Anyhow I guess I should be grateful that you took the time in answering my post, so Thank You! Your answers cleared my simple minded head of its confusion.
Again Gary as I stated above it was a serious question…Frog…a leather pouch that holds Spud Wrenches, it’s used by Ironworkers. Why I ask…not everyone knows that. Just as I don’t know what parts are what on a M1A1 Abrams?
I am so done with this…

Gary, thanks for that info about the blow out panels and tank version, I don't think anyone stated that before..not that I found. It'll certainly help with my many Abrams build.
Hmm the best way to model a particular version correctly is to have sufficient photos of the real thing. Unfortunately it's hardly ever possible.
