anyone make a british 1/35th 105mm L5 gun ?

hey guys anyone know of anyone who makes a 1/35th scale 105mm L5 used by the poms and australia in the 60's till the 80's. i think its italian from memory!!!! help would be awesome

Not sure about an L-5, but Barrel Depot make a 1/35 105mm M68 barrel, which I believe is the US licensed equivalent of the L-7 if that helps.

Do you mean the 105mm L7/M68? (It's British in origin - yay! - and was the World's Big Tank Gun Of Choice for about 20 years, which is why I have a project planned to cover as many of its users as possible.)

Barrel Depot does a range of M68s in aluminium, though it doesn't cover the full spread. They do a plain one for the M60 and others, one with a US pattern thermal shroud for the M60A3, and one with a mud shield at the mantlet end, also for the M60. They all look very nice. Not too sure about genuine L7s, particularly the L7A3 variant that the Germans used. There's also replacement barrels from Model Point for the Swedish L74, as used in the Strv 103, which is a derivative of the L7.

oh ok thanks for that phil! the idea is to do a dio of one being put into an aussie m113 in svn! as i know a guy who was the driver of the one pictured in the war memorials list!!

The L5 was made by OTO Mallera of Italy. Unfortunately, there is no kit of it that I know of. Here is a pic of it though.
