What do you all use for painting canvas stowage on WW II era AFV's? I am using Model Master paints and can't find anything that looks right to me. I know Tamiya has a Khaki color, but I don't have access to Tamiya paints, and I'm on a deadline so I have no time to order. So, if you use Model Master and have an idea, I needs to know. :-) Thanks Chuck

I had some good results using Model Masters Faded olive drab and using a blackish wash to shade the folds then highlighting with some olive drab i've lightened with some grey. to get a lighter off green faded color...
Not Model Master, exactly, but head to Hobby Lobby and buy everything tan and green in the $1.00 craft acrylic section. That's what I did and man, you can really vary the shades of stowage, uniforms etc. on the cheap. I also bought every color that was even close to rust color, for the same reason. I had one bottle of "model" paint in hand when I went to the craft paint section. Left the model paint and got four bigger bottles of craft paint that is just as good for the same money. Did I mention I work for a craft paint company? (Kidding)
