I started this one last Christmas, but the motivation disapeared after folding, glueing and soldering about 1 kg of PE. However, some days ago I got the motivation back and finished the build. Now it has the first coat of camoflage paint (about 1 liter...) and I know it will be finished in a couple of weeks. The Pzh 2000 was chosen simply because it was the biggest thing I found that would fit the trailer. There are still a lot of painting and detailing left...

Only one pic since the beast is too long for my camera...

Crap build mate! Half the wheels are missing! Were there no instructions with it?

Wow--I'm amazed you got this far! That looks like a huge model. I guess it's the modern armor builder's equivalent of the Dora rail gun...
Did you leave the wheels off for ease of painting?

Yes. I only put some of them on for the photo. I will put on the wheels when the kit is more or less finished.

I have two of these kits. Does it go together well? One of them is going to be a South African Cavallo built by Kynos of Spain.same basic Cab, and Chassis, but tons of scratch on it, and the trailer is totally scatch. It is going to be a nightmare. Good build so far.

Not any major problems. You should change the supplied tread which is supposed to be tow wires and the kit needs the PE for the diamond pattern no slip on the fenders. The loading ramp on the trailer is also casted with the pulleys on the wrong side, but that is easy to fix.

I seem to recall the kit instructions have an issue in the way the wheel carriages on the tractor unit are assembled....I can't recall specifically, but Perth's site has a fantastic write up of the kit and a brief buildup article that mentions any issues...

You are right. Something in the undercarriage is molded the wrong way. I did not bother to correct it since it can't be seen.

I can imagine how you feel Erik. I got the Faun with the complete set of Eduard PE. I don't know when I'll ever start it. When I saw all the PE, I was taken aback. I wonder if you put on the windshield screen PE as well?
Nice choice with the PzH2000. Really butch. My choice was a Leo A2.

Did you just stick the wheels on for the picture or are they straight from the casting molds? Maybe some new age super weapon that envokes the power anti-static dust/dirt repellant?
