In another thread we talked back about a campaign where the deal was to spend next to nothing on a dio, so I thought I'd try it again. I needed to give these figures a home so created this scene.
The base was apiece of old wood laying around and the back wall a bit of scrap balsa. The bulk of the rubble was a bit of packing foam covered in plaster. The rubble was built using a couple of handfuls of 2 different types of cat litter with a crushed up house brick and cement dust. Only took a couple of hours to do and wasn't intended to be a masterpiece. I just wanted to show that not all dios need to be big and cost a fortune .
Thanks for looking

not bad for nowt!
I like the sound of a campaign where you spend as little as possible on a dio, more than anything it's a great excuse to clear out the stash!
Perhaps a campaign of this nature is in order?

Hey all the red "x's" have disappeared, wonder why they come and go for?
James; a campaign on a budget is great fun, makes one think about the dio and not just nip down the LHS to see what there is to fill a gap. Check out the "Old Skool Members" thread.
Pickle; The vomit blood was down by gluing a bit of thread to the mouth, cutting it to length and painting. Gross, I didn't do it to shock but to compliment the guys injuries to his throat/upper chest.
Cheers

Hey DJ,
The rust on the gun is just that, rust. Take some wire wal and chop it up a bit to make small clumps. Put it in a container and add some vinegar and put a top on the container. leave for a week or so and the wire will be turned to rust. Leave the top off for a while for it to dry out and you are left with a powdery substance. Iused Humbrol rust paint for a bit of depth, wet the area and sprinkle the rust on and voila, rust
