How does this vehicle operate? Is it a tripod boom off the side or a tractor puller and pusher?
Neet-o vehicle, I have never heard of this one before.

Hello,
I'm not surprised you did not know this vehicle before. In fact there are only 3 in service with th French army. This is a kind of substitution vehicle to the expensive DCL (pending the issueing of it to the armor units).
Basically, the MARS is a regular series 1 tank with the gun removed and some towing capacity added.
There is no boom, winch, crane or whatever makes a real ARRV.

To model it, you'll have to start from the Heller kit as it has the correct initial sprocket (be aware that the two other MARS have the current sprocket !), the basic hull without add-on armor, the front bow of the series 1 MBT etc...
