I'm going to build a knocked out KV-2 and have the following question about the storage boxes on the fenders. The Lionroar PE set has slightly different boxes to the Voyager one. The Voyager ones look exactly like the ones on the kit; the Lionroar ones look slightly different and are fairly square, they don't slope down slightly on the lid. Were there two variations of storage boxes on KV-2s or have Lionroar made a mistake as this fret is the same as the KV-1 PE set and I think this is for the 1942 model not earlier models? Sounds strange, but when I made my KV-1, I accidentally bought the Lionroar PE, so if possible I'd like to use the boxes as I want to show battle damage. However, they just don't seem right to me.

Also, has anyone used the Voyager KV-2 fenders PE set? I understand you have to burnish the underside to get the rivet detail. Is it easy to do and does it look good? I used the Aber set last time, and although very good, putting on each individual rivet wasn't exactly fun.

Thanks for any help.

Cheers
