DML (I think) used to make one for the Korean War. It is OOP.

DML made the POA-CWS-H5. It was the Koren war Marine Flame tank. It had a 105mm barrel with a second tube for the flamethrower to the right side of it. Other than that one I can't think of another. Anyone else think of one?

In the original issue of the Ic Firefly hybrid, it had the extra turret to make a Marine flame tank with the composite hull.

Rob,
I have not found any pictures or documentation that the Marines used Composite hull Shermans. The Army did use them in the Pacific. Verlinden put out a composite hull M4 with fording stacks conversion at one time and I think It had USMC decals, which I believe now to be incorrect. A lot of Army tanks in the Pacific were misidentified as Marine tanks because in photos they supported Marine infantry and it was just assumed to be a Marine tank. So far in my research I've only been able to identify the Marine Corps using the following Sherman types; M4A1, M4A2 both mid and late production, and M4A3. If anyone knows any different please let me know.

This kit is long OOP and has lots of problems, but my LHS (in Hillsboro, Oregon) still has one lying around. If you simply must have it, PM me and I'll pass along the phone number. I'm sure the shop owner would be happy to send it away; however, the kit has languished on the shelf because he doesn't discount despite certain items becoming seriously dead inventory.

If you really want a good one, then buy DML new M4A3 105 HVSS and place a tube on the gun mantle to represent the flamethrower tube.

This is a web site for the USMC flame tank Platoons in Korea;
http://www.flamedragons.com/index.html
It has just about everything you need to know about these tanks.
