I am doing a dio with a small German bunker (Mg bunker) in the Atlantic wall.
I think I have seen a pic of such bunker with a net of metal for camouflage drape on it.
Have I dreamt about it or?
Anyone who knew about this.

I'm not sure what model (Regelbau) bunker you mean. Have you already bought a kit?
Verlinden sells a lot of bunkers, although most of these are more fantasy than real. (German bunkers were built according to regulations/ modules.) Helmut's Strongholds offers models of real bunkers.

Also do a Google image search for: regelbau
Hope this helps.

The correct name on this is pillbox I think.
What I mean with the net, it will hang down in front of the pillbox and on the side for camo And I believe that it functioned as a certain protection against blast grenades.
Here are some pics.
I have produced these and want to gladly have comments on them

Hi,
A couple of weeks ago I visited a German bunker and these pics bring me back in that atmosphere, just very well executed. How did you make the concrete construction ? What materials did you use please ? The sandbags are also high quality made. G.

Very nice indeed. That looks as if it is going to a rather large set up when your done. The concrete looks real.

I've always loved these Atlantic Wall builds. Sandbags are excellent and so is the furniture. Yes I have seen those wire mesh nets, they helped with camo and reduced the impact from nearby blasts as you said. I think adding one to your dio would look fine. You could use a gauze cloth or just a strip of old cloth, depends on the scale.

Thanks for your kind comments.
It is scale 1:35
The sandbags are done of clay (TER’PLUS Self hardening clay(produced of Solargil)) and shaped in a piece fabric for that structure. Painted with acrylic paint.
The concrete is done of a sheet (1000mm X 600mm) of some type's foam that is covered with thin cardboard on both sides.
It is used of advertising agency for to do signs.
