My name is Brian Alfano. As a part of the Winter Enrichment program at my local elementary school, I will be teaching a class titled " An Introduction to Scale Modeling" with a focus on the Sherman tank in World War II. I will have 15-20 kids in my class. We will meet once a week for 6 weeks and hopefully have a completed model for each student in the group. I am asking for donations of any 1/35 th scale Sherman, regardless of type. I will assign the kits to the children and collect them at the end of each session. At the end of the course the kids will be able to take the kits home with them. I will then encourage them to enter their works in an up coming local IPMS contest. Every child will walk away with some type of award for their participation. This is a real positive experience for all involved.
Any donations you can make will help, I have virtually no budget for this. Please email me if you are willing to contribute.
Thanks in advance,
Brian Alfano

Brian,
It's not a good idea to post your address here. It will be available to webcrawlers and search engines. I'd suggest editing your message above to remove it and send Dave a private message using the "message" button on the menu bar on his post above.

Got your address.
I suggest you edit your previous post, and delete your address.
Use PM's in the future for personal information.
I'll send a couple of kits out next week.
Keep us posted on your project.
And don't let people know I sent anything....

Thanks for the laugh DJ.
Now that I'm committed to sending something, I bet he tells if I muck it up.
