Here is a figure I'm trying to paint. I never really could paint small scale figures but I'm trying! The figure was sculpted with Magic Sculpt, the face was done by John Long, and he did a great job on it!

And some inprogress of the painting. He will be sporting a splinter camo pattern on the trousers. As always, painted with Vallejo Acrylics.

And the jacket more or less finished.

The face is a spittin' image of an old friend of mine from Lebanon, blue eyes and all!!

Which Vallejo blue do you use for the eyes? I could never get the right shade of blue.

Good work so far on the painting, and a very nice figure.

Thanks Hisham!

Its funny to see someone you 'know' in miniature. It has happened to me a time or two.

The eyes are painted with Vellejo 899 Dark Preussian Blue and highlighted with Andrea 34 Napoleonic Blue. I havent found a Vallejo substitute for the Andrea Nappy Blue, none seem to be as bright as the Andrea one.

Here is the German WWII Tanker finished. Im pretty happy with it concidering I dont paint a lot of small scale stuff. He should have the rain drops on the trousers but I chickened out! Maybe on the next one when I am braver!
